The Kolorbond process is a coating which has been formulated in Europe and has been in use in the automotive industry since the 1950's. It is applied to vinyl just like paint, and it is guaranteed not to chip, crack, peel or fade.  Air Chek has been using the Kolorbond process for 5 years and our customers are very satisfied with the results. In fact, this product is so good, that we paint vinyl extrusions for our competition! Now you can have your Ultra or Casement windows with white, beige or oakwood veneer on the inside of your home and any color you want on the exterior of your home. Some of the more common colors we coat our vinyl with are bronze, brown, gray, forest green, teratone, and beige.

The coloring process is comprised of a coating which is applied with a spray gun much like paint is, yet this coating chemically bonds with the vinyl substrate ensuring that the coating will not chip, crack, or peel. We are so confident in this process, that we even extend the coating company warranty.

Kolorbond is an acrylic co-polymer based coating comprised of resins and selected, highly durable pigments that actually form a permanent cross-linked chemical bond with the PVC substrate. It is UV resistant and resists heat buildup. The product comfortably exceeds the requirements of cross hatch adhesion tests set by ASTM.
